Outcomes of FOREU4ALL's Third Workshop | Communication & Dissemination and Community Engagement

The third FOREU4ALL transversal workshop focused on strengthening engagement, inclusion, communication and the sense of belonging across European Universities alliances. Bringing together the outcomes of the event, this report offers collective insights, shared practices and practical recommendations to support more inclusive and connected alliance communities.

The workshop “From Campuses to Communities: Enhancing Engagement and Sense of Belonging in European Universities" was jointly organised by the topical groups on Communication & Dissemination and Community Engagement. The event was held on 2-3 June 2026 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, hosted by the University of Strasbourg and the EPICUR Alliance. It brought together representatives from 58 European Universities alliances, with 132 participants attending in person and over 90 joining online, to explore how alliances can move beyond institutional cooperation and become genuine communities for students, academics and professional staff.
