This report explores universities’ embeddedness in innovation ecosystems (specifically through research collaboration and equipping students with entrepreneurial skills) using data from the European Higher Education Sector Observatory (EHESO) and the European Higher Education Sector Scoreboard (EHESS).

The exchanges in Venice in December 2025, during FOREU4ALL's first workshop, confirmed strong engagement across the sector to make the European Degree Label a credible, feasible, and value-driven instrument supporting deeper cooperation within the European Higher Education Area. This report sumarising the outcomes of the event offers consolidated insights and recommendations for all.

This briefing by the European University Association (EUA) analyses survey evidence and develops a conceptual framework that can support a structured and strategic discussion about the future of alliances. It puts forward a comprehensive model for the financial sustainability of alliances, building on EUA’s broader work on funding principles, leadership, governance and institutional transformation.

This study by the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA) and the Slovenian National Agency for European Community Programmes and International Mobility Programmes (CMEPIUS)  explores the rich landscape of national-level support available to higher education institutions (HEIs) funded under the European Universities Initiative (EUI), as well as the Seal of Excellence holders, and suggests ways forward for the higher education community.

Drawing on the experience of six French institutions involved in first-wave alliances,  this report by the French Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Space (MESRE) highlights the transformative impact of European University alliances and calls for a major shift in how they are supported. 

The present survey was conducted as part of the LTA (Long Term Activity) SPREAD EUI, a project run by four Erasmus+ National Agencies from Austria (OeAD), Germany (NA DAAD), Hungary (Tempus Public Foundation) and Norway (HK dir). Its results offer numerous insights on the perceptions of higher education institutions not engaged in an alliance about the initiative, their favourite topics of interest with respect to its outcomes and their needs for benefiting of them.

The Assembly concluded on the voting of 76 recommendations. 74 were adopted.

The EUPeace Handbook on Internationalising Teacher Education is a comprehensive guide which serves as a natural extension of the EUPeace Concept of "School for All", aiming to integrate international perspectives into teacher education programmes.

This report analyses the responses of 500 higher education institutions in 49 Erasmus+ programme and partner countries to a survey on their experience with the programme. 

This ENQA report is prepared as part of the three-year Implementation and Innovation in quality assurance through peer learning (IMINQA) project. The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme to support the implementation of Bologna Process reforms and commitments related to quality assurance (QA).
