FOREU4ALL Strengthens Transatlantic Cooperation on AI, Innovation and Education During US Visit

September 29, 2026

Last week, Dr. Beatrix Busse, Chair of FOREU4ALL and Chief Development Officer for EUniWell, joined Executive Vice-President for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness Roxana Mînzatu and her Cabinet for a strategic visit to the United States, representing FOREU4ALL and the European Universities alliances and strengthening their transatlantic partnerships.

In the context of the General Assembly of the United Nations, the delegation visited key academic and policy institutions in Boston, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University and the Cambridge Innovation Centre, with discussions focusing on the future of universities, innovation, skills, talent development and international cooperation.

A central message throughout the visit was the importance of strong transatlantic cooperation and of approaching the AI transformation in education in a values-led way. European universities and European Universities alliances have a key role to play in shaping this transformation, in Europe and globally.

For FOREU4ALL, Beatrix’s participation in this high-level delegation was an important opportunity to represent the collective voice of European Universities alliances, strengthen strategic connections with US partners, and further highlight the contribution of university alliances to Europe’s future.
