FOREU4ALL Elects New Forum Board for 2026–2027 Mandate

FOREU4ALL has recently elected its new Forum Board for the 2026–2027 mandate, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening collaboration and strategic coordination among the European Universities alliances. The newly Forum Board members were appointed during the first General Forum meeting of 2026, held on 9 February.
Professor Beatrix Busse, who serves as Chief Development Officer of EUniWell and Vice-Rector for Teaching and Studies at the University of Cologne, will continue in her role as Chair of the FOREU4ALL Forum Board. Her renewed mandate ensures continuity in leadership as FOREU4ALL advances its objectives for the next year of the initiative.
Emily Helmeid, Secretary General of EUGLOH, will also remain in her role as Vice-Chair. Joining her is Fernando Pérez Peña, General Director for European Projects and SEA-EU General Director, who has been appointed Vice-Chair to further support the Chair in steering the work of the Forum Board.
While several members are continuing their mandate, others are joining the Board for the first time, ensuring a balance between continuity and fresh perspectives within the Forum’s leadership. Forum Board members for the 2026–2027 mandate include:

- Andreas Winkler (Secretary General, Unite!)
- Aurelien Krejbich (Executive Director, CIVICA)
- Dorothy Kelly (Full Professor and Arqus Alliance Coordinator)
- José Ignacio Jiménez González (Vice-Rector for Internationalization, NEOLAiA Alliance)
- Maria Potes Barbas (Representative, ACE2EU)
- Maria-Valerie Schegk (Secretary General, YUFE)
- Mattia Bellotti (Secretary General, EUTOPIA)
- Maxime Cacciutolo Heidel (Alliance Coordinator, ERUA)
- Michal Karpíšek (Secretary General, E3UDRES2)
- Nicole Birkle (General Secretary, FORTHEM)
- Romita Iucu (President of the Board of Trustees, University of Bucharest; CIVIS Alliance)
Bringing together extensive experience from across the European Universities alliances, the newly constituted Forum Board will guide FOREU4ALL’s activities over the next one-year mandate. Their first official meeting will take place in March 9th, 2026.
