European Universities alliances & FOREU4ALL at EAIE 2025 - Highlights
A record of 35 European Universities alliances, nearly double the participation from 2024, came together at the Conference and Exhibition EAIE 2025 in Gothenburg, showcasing the strength of European collaboration in higher education. The event increased visibility for the alliances, fostered meaningful connections with partners within and beyond Europe, and reinforced a shared commitment to working together for higher education institutions across the continent.
United through the European Universities Initiative, a flagship programme of the European Commission launched in 2019, and strengthened by the FOREU4ALL Community of Practice, a total of 73 alliances are actively co-developing the future of higher education. Together, they are building a competitive, innovative, and inclusive ecosystem where excellence in education, science, and research can thrive.
