The FOREU4ALL Topical Group on Research and Innovation (R&I) has created a sub-group on the “Sharing of Research Infrastructures (ResInfra)”, with the objectives to strengthen cooperation between Alliances by exchanging and co-developing policies and models of sustainable, auditable, legally sound, people-driven, digitally enabled, and professionally managed open and shared ResInfra. Among its activities, the sub-group performed, during the first semester 2026, a mapping of Alliances practices in that field and collected information from 65+ Alliances. 

FOREU4ALL's fourth workshop will be the occasion to disseminate the first results of the mapping and organise their live analysis, with all the needed experts. The event will thus be a very practical workshop where participants not only learn the current practices at Alliances regarding the sharing of ResInfra but also actively participate in the design of potential future recommendations. The workshop will aim to bring together a diverse group of participants, including Alliance research/innovation Coordinators and ResInfra Managers, early-career and senior researchers, industry representatives, and representatives of the European Commission, to ensure that the perspectives and needs of all stakeholder groups are taken into account.

 A total of eight face-to-face transversal workshops will be organised between December 2025 and July 2028. Their objective is to become a forum for deeper discussions across alliances and topical areas, as well as to engage external experts and stakeholders in the alliances’ activities.
