In 2022, the University of Lille, situated in the North of France, underwent two major transformations - it finalized its new, experimental governance model, including devolved autonomy to its constituent components, and it joined NeurotechEU, the European University of Brain and Technology, coordinated by Radboud University.
Can such new governance models provide a template for the future development of alliances, in which some of the member organisations might wish to retain more or less institutional autonomy?
This event, organized by the Brussels office of France Universités (the French rectors’ conference) on behalf of the University of Lille, wishes to assess the extent to which possible overlaps between the two governance systems may benefit the development of different kinds of higher education institutions at local, national and European levels.
The event might be of interest to alliances with an evolving governance. Find further information and register on the official webpage of the event.
