SUMMARY:Experimenting with new governance models in European Universities Alliances
DESCRIPTION:\nIn 2022, the University of Lille, situated in the North of France, underw
ent two major transformations - it finalized its new, experimental governan
ce model, including devolved autonomy to its constituent components, and it
joined NeurotechEU, the European University of Brain and Technology, coord
inated by Radboud University.\nCan such new governance models provide a tem
plate for the future development of alliances, in which some of the member
organisations might wish to retain more or less institutional autonomy?\nTh
is event, organized by the Brussels office of France Universités (the Frenc
h rectors’ conference) on behalf of the University of Lille, wishes to asse
ss the extent to which possible overlaps between the two governance systems
may benefit the development of different kinds of higher education institu
tions at local, national and European levels.\nThe event might be of intere
st to alliances with an evolving governance. Find further information and r
egister on the official webpage of the event (https://www.maison-joliot-cur
